Melissa offers support as the Human Resources Manager along with the Accounts Payable and Receivables department for La Pine Dental. She brings over 25 years of experience in accounting and human resources. Melissa was born and raised in Central Oregon and brings with her a deep respect and love of the area. Melissa has two amazing children, Michael and Megan. Michael lives in Salt Lake City and is pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Utah. Megan works alongside the team at La Pine Dental. You can find Melissa exploring the Pacific Northwest in her spare time. She particularly enjoys backpacking, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding and camping with her companion. She is learning how to fly fish and can’t wait to catch some big fish in the many local lakes and rivers. She also enjoys traveling as often as possible and taking in concerts and shows along the way.
Whitney was born and raised in Northern Canada. She moved from the Canadian Rockies to Portland in 2015, she is now happily settled in La Pine on her acreage with her Tibetan Mastiff Makalu. She graduated from Grande Prairie Regional College in the Department of Office Administration in 2010 and in 2011 under the Department of Nursing Education and Health Studies and has been in the dental field ever since. Whitney received her Oregon Dental Radiology Certificate in 2020, she is also a Registered Yoga Teacher in Hatha and Vinyasa & just expanded her practice in Yin. Whitney spends her time exploring the outdoors with her dog, she can be found mountain biking, hiking, meditating in the forest or paddle boarding somewhere beautiful.
Nicole was born and raised in Eugene Oregon and is a die-hard Duck fan (sorry Beaver fans). She worked at Sacred Heart General Hospital from 1987-1994 and moved to Sisters in 1999, Nicole now resides in Bend. Her family soon followed and now all live in either Sisters or Bend. Nicole has one son, Alex, who is 32 years old. Nicole attended the University of Oregon and graduated from Lane Community College in 1994 with an associate degree in Dental Hygiene. Nicole has worked at La Pine Dental as a Dental Hygienist since December of 2000. Nicole loves to quilt, design quilt patterns, knit, read, travel, camp, go crabbing, fishing and her favorite word is hope.
Kachell was born in Tillamook, Oregon. She moved to North Dakota when she was young with her family. In 2016, Kachell and her daughter, KayLee moved to Duluth, Minnesota. Kachell then started attending Lake Superior College to pursue a career as a Dental Hygienist. She graduated in 2022 with an associate's degree in Dental Hygiene. Kachell worked at a private practice in Duluth, Minnesota for a year before moving back to Oregon. Kachell and her daughter KayLee, now 10, reside in La Pine near family. Kachell and KayLee have 2 cats named Butterscotch and baby kitty. They are excited to explore all that central Oregon has to offer and be near family. Kachell loves to spend time with her daughter, family, and friends. Kachell enjoys knitting, crochet, reading, board games, going on hikes and spending time at the lake.
Jasmine grew up in Anaheim, California & moved to La Pine in 2018. Jasmine now resides in La Pine with her two girls & two dogs. Jasmine is enthusiastic about Dentistry because she loves interacting with patients, she enjoys listening to all the interesting stories patients share and is always happy to see patients satisfied with their dental treatment. In Jasmine’s early years, she used to raise & show pigs, sheep, heifers with calves, and steers in a high school program called the Future Farmers of America. Jasmine aspires to get her two girls into as many sports and rodeo events as possible while they are young. When Jasmine is out of the office, she enjoys spending time with her two beautiful girls, playing with her two playful dogs, camping, attending festivals and exploring new places around Central Oregon.
Sandra was born and raised in Germany, she moved to the USA in 2004 and to La Pine in 2015. She enjoys spending time with her husband Shawn, son Lukas and pets. In her free time, you’ll find her kayaking, hiking or just planting something in her yard. Sandra’s hobbies are arts/crafts working with essential oils, painting, and making jewelry. Sandra is passionate about dentistry and have been a Dental Assistant for 30 years. She worked as a contract Dental Assistant for the Air Force from 1998-2015, she was the only civilian Prophylaxis Technician in the Air Force.
Marin was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She lived in the Portland/Beaverton area until moving to Central Oregon in 2009 with her husband and daughter finally settling in La Pine on a beautiful piece of property in 2020 and fell in love with the small-town charm. She has worked in customer service for over 20 years and enjoys the dental field the most because she believes that everyone should have a smile they love. When not at work, Marin enjoys spending time with her family exploring all the beauty of Central Oregon.
Introducing Jennifer Potter, a native of Oregon, she was born in Portland, raised in Hillsboro, and relocated to La Pine in 2019. Jennifer completed her studies at Concorde Career College in 2015, specializing as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. After graduation, she decided to take a break from work to focus on raising her children and supporting her son with his disability. Jennifer shares her life with her partner of 15 years, along with their 13-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son. Engaging in her small town, she teaches art classes, participates in community volleyball, and enjoys attending local festivals and exploring the beautiful outdoors. During her leisure time, Jennifer cherishes moments with her family, plays with their two dogs, and helps with the upkeep of their home. She finds joy in activities like beach outings, crabbing, painting, paddleboarding, kayaking, and her go-to spot in Central Oregon is East Lake.
Sarah is an Army Veteran who grew up in Bend and now lives in La Pine, where she raises her family. She enjoys taking her kids and dogs for hikes, paddleboarding and playing in the snow when we are blessed with snow.
