Dr. Allen is a native Oregonian. He grew up on a 600-acre farm in rural St. Paul, Oregon with his parents and four siblings. He moved to Woodburn, Oregon at 17 where he graduated from Woodburn High School. He served a two-year mission for his church in Arizona and through that experience gained a love of service for his community. Dr. Allen attended Portland State University and graduated in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in General Science. He then moved across the country and attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, graduating with his Doctor of Medical Dentistry in 2009. Dr. Allen is an active member of the La Pine community and loves working with the residents here. He has lived here since 2018 and enjoys all the recreational activities Central Oregon has to offer. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association and Central Oregon Dental Association. Dr. Allen has two wonderful children Michael and Megan. Michael is currently living in Salt Lake City working for the University of Utah. Megan works for the practice supporting our staff and patients. He enjoys collecting rare coins and Star Wars memorabilia. On his days off you may find him fishing, camping, hiking, or working on his property.
